Useful Contact Information
Every day, thousands of South Africans are faced with complex legal problems but
often, their resources for getting the help they need are limited.
Whilst some legal problems do require expert legal advice, many people often
consult attorneys nonsensically. Where an answer to their problem may have been
a simple mouse-click away, people are too often (and unnecessarily) burdened
with exorbitant legal fees instead..
This is why Legal Adviser is best placed to assist you with a reliable means of
getting the right legal assistance.
Legal Adviser has compiled a comprehensive list of legal bodies situated around
South Africa together with a short description of their purpose and functions
(Thanks To Law24).
When faced with a legal problem, it is best to know of the right people to
contact for a solution.
The Center for Human Rights was
established in 1986 after a major conference on apartheid and a new Bill of
Rights for South Africa hosted on the campus of the University of Pretoria. The
founding director, now Judge of the Constitutional Court, Johann van der
Westhuizen, was one of four experts who wrote the final version of the interim
and final constitutions. In its earlier years, the Center focused on building
capacity in the area of human rights in South Africa.
